PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Corp Bhd has unveiled its Tropicana WindCity development, a 596-acre township in Genting Highlands comprising three master plans of Tropicana Grandhill, Tropicana Paradise and Tropicana Avalon.
Tropicana Group Managing Director Dion Tan was enthusiastic about building a holistic retail, leisure and residential oasis in Genting Highlands.
“Tropicana WindCity is envisioned with Tropicana Paradise as the catalyst, providing a haven of entertainment in the heart of the township. This dynamic project will chart a new horizon of growth for our group and mark our first marketing expansion in the international market in the Asia-Pacific region. We have already registered interest from various companies, highlighting the growing interest in our development in the highlands,” he said.
The upland development will be anchored by Tropicana Paradise, comprising 308 acres of commercial and residential components as well as a 38-acre integrated entertainment center with proposed branded residences, internationally branded five-star hotels, a theme park and A mall.
The hub’s pull factors include 1 million square feet of retail space and 1.5 million square feet of entertainment attractions, with planned amenities such as an indoor theme park, congress, a multi-level glass tower and internationally themed gardens and restaurants.
Tropicana WindCity will also be complemented by Tropicana Grandhill, a 112-acre town with lifestyle offerings such as a proposed wellness center and Silver Hair Village; as well as Tropicana Avalon, a luxurious and intimate 176-acre township envisioned with serviced and branded residences, hospitality facilities and a villa complex, as well as a proposed forest park and eco-adventure elements.
Tropicana WindCity will seek to adopt sustainable modes of transportation such as cable car and electric tram systems, as well as elevated pedestrian walkways.
Meanwhile, Tropicana also unveiled T Privilege, an enhanced loyalty program anchored by the Tropicana 360 mobile application. Launched in 2011, the Tropicana Privilege Card was the first real estate loyalty program implemented by the group.
The fully enhanced T Privilege aims to provide more benefits to its property buyers as well as the community through the group’s ecosystem. Through T Privilege, Tropicana Members can receive special discounts on their next property purchase and enjoy many perks when they dine, play or stay at Tropicana Affiliates, Retail and Golf Resort at the ‘hospitality. Members can draw on the program’s 65 partner merchants and brands, with the intention of offering more merchants in the future.
The new T Privilege has five levels of membership (private, priority, gold, platinum, diamond), offering incentives such as special discounts on property purchases, referral cash rewards, priority invitations to launches and lifestyle events, special privileges at Tropicana Golf & Country Free resort and lifestyle updates via Tropicana Magazine. Members can also enjoy lifestyle rewards with T Privilege Merchant Partners, including fashion, dining, fitness, home and lifestyle brands and more at Tropicana Gardens Mall, TGCR, Courtyard by Marriott and W Kuala Lumpur.
“To accommodate more members to take advantage of our Tropicana benefits, we have introduced the Private tier for public members. They can join by simply downloading and registering through our Tropicana 360 app. This enhanced functionality connects with our shoppers and the community while enhancing and streamlining our rewards ecosystem,” explained Tan.
